Electronic Arts announced today that Need for Speed(TM) SHIFT, the all-new authentic racing game in the Need for Speed series, will hit stores in the UK on September 18 2009. Need for Speed SHIFT brings a true driver's experience to some of the world's most iconic racing tracks, including the storied Brand's Hatch in the UK. The game also features the largest roster of high-performance cars in Need for Speed history including race cars such as the Pagani Zonda, Porsche 911 GT2 and Lotus Elise.
"With Need for Speed SHIFT, EA set out to create a racing game that pushes the genre and delivers something never before seen in a Need for Speed title," said Patrick Soderlund, Senior Vice President at EA Games Europe. "By focusing on the driver's experience through the first-person view, we are able to capture the high-speed intensity and gripping emotions of racing."

The harsh reality is that Nemesis isn’t as much fun as it could be. This will come as a severe letdown to fellow marvel fans that had fostered dreams of massive scrapfests between some of the most powerful and popular characters in comics. The thing is, those titanic conflicts are certainly present and accounted for, but some how they manage to be an equal mix of frustration and fun. So, what is the problem? Marvel nemesis is a game confused about its own identity.
It wants to be a fighting game, but lacks the skill driven combos and tricks that make the fighting genre worthwhile. It also wants to be a plot driven action game, but the story is bland and contrived while the action feels repetitive.
